AEZ Atlanta meets Mercedes E 200

A classic for a classic
Bild1.jpg

Even though the current E-Class takes a modern visual direction, this model series has been a well-known classic for decades, not only gaining popularity as the taxi par excellence. The E-Class has always covered a wide range of uses, from the aforementioned taxi as the 200 d to the practical estate model, coupé, and cabriolet, all the way to the driving pleasure powerhouses from AMG.

For our photo shoot, we have given the versatile all-rounder of the last series (W213, until mid-2023) suitably classic “footwear”: The AEZ Atlanta titan, with its straightforward multi-spoke design, is a highlight that wonderfully complements the modern design language of the current E-Class.

Business – as usual

Traditionally, the E-Class is a business saloon with ample space, comfortable suspension as well as modern infotainment and assistance systems.

Voice control is as standard as the large touchscreen. The excellent craftsmanship and highly reliable technology have significantly contributed to the popularity of this model series.

A star for the star

With its classic star-shaped multi-spoke design, the AEZ Atlanta is as elegant as it is dynamic, making a striking impression on our E 200 d.

The special appeal of this combination arises from the unique colour scheme chosen for the E-Class.

In the titan design variant, the front-polished spokes in graphite matte create their own distinctive and attractive highlights with their radiant tips. Naturally, the dimensions of the Atlanta also play a role in the duo’s powerful overall appearance.

We opted for the 8.5x20 inch size with an offset of 35.0 for the front axle (tyres: 245/40 R20), while the rear axle features generously sized tyres in 275/35, rolling on 9.5x20 inch wheels with an offset of 44.0. We find the result very appealing. However, we have several other alternatives…

Many suitable wheel designs

... such as the AEZ Berlin, which was specifically designed for the E-Class and features a refined design in sizes 8x19 (front axle, offset 43.0), 9x19 (rear axle, offset 53.0) and 8x19 with an offset of 43.0 all around, and ECE certification.

If this model still doesn’t quite match your preferences, there are further options like the futuristic Havanna (grey or dark), the playful Leipzig (black and dark), the minimalist Montreal (dark and black), the striking Panama (dark and high gloss), the designer cross-spoke Porto (black and dark), or the distinctly sporty Tioga, available in titan and graphite finishes.

All of these are available in sizes suitable for the Mercedes E-Class.

Simply give them a try – the AEZ 3D-Konfigurator is always ready for an automotive wheel fashion show and will immediately show how the selected wheels will look on the respective car.
