At a diagonal of 13 inches, the new high-gloss catalogue published by the German premium wheel manufacturerAEZ is almost as big as a small alloy wheel. This oversize format was deliberately chosen to present the 2014 collection in a perfect fashion. Its “coffee table book“ style simply highlights the fine quality of these alloy wheels exclusively produced in Germany, and its dramatic composition is determined by the “AEZ Bond Movie 2014“, premiered at the Essen Motor Show 2013.
That the real stars of this film are neither the skydiving champion Fabian Raidl nor the attractive Bond girls is made obvious by a clever little trick: while the cool background scenes are discreetly matt, the wheels in the foreground are partially UV-painted. And that doesn’t only look good, it also feels good. And instead of a cover girl we have a cover wheel. Given the fact that the actresses from the clip could even be admired in the magazine Playboy, certainly highlights the new design’s visual focus. If you want to get – an entirely decent – glimpse of the ladies anyway, you will have many opportunities in the catalogue.
