RC44 ADRIS Cup, Rovinj, September 28 – October 2, 2011 The List Gets Smaller The AEZ RC44 Sailing Team finished the Adris Cup in Rovinj (CRO) with 11th Place. In both of the closing races Rene Mangold, Christian Binder and Co. sailed in ranks eleven and twelve. The overall victory was secured by Team Aqua, with which the British are further increasing their lead in the tour rankings. The RC44 Championship Tour 2011 will be finalized with the Word Championship in Lanzarote. The starting shot will take place on November 15th. Alfred Pelinka (Trainer): “The list of things to work on is always getting smaller. We keep many positive impressions with us and have sometimes at the very least received acknowledgement that we could keep up with the best of the best. We have improved ourselves significantly at the starting line and regarding boat speed. However, our main problem is that we so rarely get the PS on the water.
