Perfect Conditions
Nothing was in the way of a successful training.

The AEZ RC44 Sailing Team went into the water today. In the early afternoon, as the “Upper Austrian” was in the water, the training could start. Between Ebensee and Traunkirchen the wind was rigid, the boys had to dress warmly. The team was able to deal with the perfect conditions.

Also No Way Back, Artemis Racing and Team Aqua were on the water, they pulled together to test each other and challenge each other and to perfect the blows. This intensive training day at the Traunsee was satisfying to all participating teams. The RC44 Austria Cup is under a good star – may the conditions in the event continue on like this.

Rene Mangold and Christian Binder, mate and tactician of the Austrian AEZ RC44 Sailing Team speak of today’s training: „Perfect conditions as at the Garda Lake and the training with No Way Back confirmed the perfect choice of a once sail. A new main sail, which Russell Coutts has sailed before and which we have tested. Tomorrow the training continues, there will be more teams then. The team is looking forward to the long race, the Grand Prix of Gmunden” on Tuesday, before it can really get started on Wednesday!” This means to keep our fingers crossed, so tomorrow’s training can be passed on as a success and so the conditions are just as perfect as today.
