Austria’s Olympic sailors don’t operate without mistakes on the fourth racing day before Palma, but they remain on top. Lara Vadlau and Eva-Maria Schimak make a big sensation.
One was accustomed to the conditions. Also on the fourth day of the Spanish World Cup the winds were on the light side with three wind speeds.

The 17 year old youth Olympic winner Lara Vadlau and Eva-Maria Schimak (24) in the 470er class surprised everybody by reaching a second place in the first day of the races. This was confirmed wherein they were placed at seventh position. Eva-Maria Schimak: "We chose the right side in the first race. Also in the second one we were ahead and shortly in the lead. We are very content today.”

The Spanish World Cup will be continued with the final series and on Saturday the medal races will be finalized.
