| Light & Shade The AEZ RC44 Team Austria fights with adjustment problems but celebrates another success on the platform. The Persian Gulf shows its sunny side with 5 Beauforts and good waves on the fifth day of the Al Maktoum Sailing Trophy – three rounds were completed. It was light and shade for the Austrians. At first Binder and Co. fought with adjustment difficulties. Their timing didn´t work out as they wished. “We were constantly one step behind, our mistakes were big”, criticizes the Austrian who handled the material problems. “If everything doesn´t work out we will not be able to sail, we are still missing coolness”, criticizes trainer Alfred Pelinka who didn´t want to hear any excuses and at the end of the day sounded a bit more positive. The reason for this was the seventh and last round where his team made it to third place. “We took a short break before the race and had the opportunity to get ready. After that our focus was back again. It wasn´t the perfect day, but at the end a nice ending.” Tomorrow the Al Maktoum Sailing Trophy before Dubai will end with the final races. After AEZ RC44 Team Austria´s return the preparations begin for the home game on the Traunsee. (20.04- 04.05) Al Maktoum Sailing Trophy – Current Score Fleet Race after seven races: 1.
