| Fast yachtsmen AEZ is „Team Austria“ ´s sponsor at the RC44 Cup | ||

| The RC44 is 13,35 meters long, 3,00 meters wide, the sail area is 300 square meters. Thanks to the carbon-light-weight build it weighs only 4 tons and belongs to the fastest racing yachts: 24 knots top speed are possible – some motorboats don’t even reach the speed of 45km/h. Professionals such as Match Race Mate Christian Binder and his Fleet Race Mate René Mangold swear on the characteristics – and on the hard regulations of the RC44 competition. Because these assure fair terms and make sure that tactic and skills lead the athletes to their victory. Binder and Mangold are competing with the world’s elite six times this year. The next exclusive meeting will take place at the picturesque and challenging Traunsee in the Salzkammergut from 26-31 May. Well-known athletes from America’s Cup such as Russell Coutts und James Spithill ( both BMW Oracle Racing), Sebastian Col (K-Challenge) or Dean Barker (Team Newzealand) are among the 20 teams of 12 nations where RC 44 Cup was founded in 2006. The promising Team Austria with Binder and Mangold are right in the middle of this. The crew will be aided by AEZ at the RC 44 Austria Cup and at the following competitions at the Gardasee, before Marseille and Dubai. The manufacturer’s logo can be seen on the aluminium wheels and on the hull on the main sail. The team also wears AEZ caps and shirts during the competition. Elite sports and premium aluminium rims go together perfectly, especially when AEZ sponsers yachting. |
