The Austrian Boat Show - BOOT TULLN 2009
Great atmosphere, satisfied exhibitors
More visitors, more exhibitors, good sales – and the elegant light-metal alloys of AEZ at the best-visited stand of OCEAN7, the Yachting magazine for Austria.
This is how fairs are meant to be. Everything was perfectly organised and customer-friendly. As a result there was also no mention of the dark ghost “crisis”. On the contrary: there were more visitors than ever, more exhibitors than ever and more and larger ships than ever. Everyone left Tulln happy and looking forward to the next year.
The elegant light-metal alloys of AEZ also attracted a lot of interest. They were presented at the stand of the yachting magazine OCEAN 7, where round-the-world sailor, adventurer and pirate victim Claus Gintner provided a real storm amongst visitors with two events per day.
Mag. Anita Resch, Head of Communication and Advertising at Tullner Messe GmbH can justifiably point to the most successful BOOT in the history of Tulln and announce this proud record: “The 38th Boot Tulln, the most important specialist nautical trade fair in Central and Eastern Europe, closed its doors for this year on 8th March after 4 days with an excellent record of success. 42,832 domestic and international visitors and buyers stormed the trade fair in Tulln an der Donau, which is an increase of 2.1 percent compared to 2008 (2008: 41,951). With over 330 exhibitors from nine countries all trade fair halls were also fully-booked. Thereby the Boot Tulln 2009 recorded clear increases both in the number of visitors and the number of exhibitors. Numerous sales completed at the trade fair – even including large yachts – confirm the important impulse-giving role of the Boot Tulln before the start of the water sport season.”
“We are very pleased that the success of the Boot Tulln has continued so impressively,” said the General Manager of the Tulln Trade Fair, Mayor Willi Stift, showing his pleasure about the success. “We see this as a confirmation of our methods and are looking very positively at 2010, where the exhibitors have already announced that they will be appearing again.”
